This is based on photo reference I took at Grand Beach Manitoba which is our most beautiful provincial beach. This particular section of the beach is enhanced with some spectacular rocks that show themselves if the water is low enough. I wanted to create warmth in the scene which was an adjustment from the photo image that had been taken on an overcast day. The painting was created with only Terry Ludwig Pastels on UART paper
