Here the poet father romanticizes about the past, while his energetic daughter just dreams of the future. This is based on a snapshot I took many years ago while on a trip to Disneyland and thought it told their whole relationship story. Ironically, the man in the picture actually played Mark Twain in a musical, and he was of course brilliant. This is on Lux Archival paper with a variety of pastels and I wanted to make it not too realistic; after all, it is a memory and memories are not realistic.
