Pastelmat, white, with purple/blue underpainting (alcohol wash with pastels).
I used my own reference photo I did back in 2007 of my cats Isabel and her son Mickey (they both passed the rainbow bridge many years ago). Every time I take a look at the photo I am feeling so blessed that I had the privilege that they were part of my life for some beautiful years.
First I did a charcaol study focused on the faces, followed by a color study 7 x 9,5 " with a purple/blue underpainting (alcohol wash with pastels).
