I have been doing art in various mediums most my life, but began using pastels in 2019. I feel in love with them as they allowed me to draw and paint. My fascination with pastels have led me to try a variety of styles, brands of pastels and papers. I also have a love of photography so my eye for a good image has assisted me in my art. I visited Wyuna Bay, NZ for the first time in 2020 and immediately wanted to paint this scene.
